Where did 4 months go!?!

Miss Hannah,

You are 4 months old!  I can't believe it!  You are amazing us everyday!  You have been up to so much, but I will try to contain myself!  Recently, you learned to roll over and back.  You only get really mad when you can't figure out how to get back over on your back.  But you handle it pretty well. Overall, you are a VERY happy baby!  But when your tummy is upset, you get fussy and when you are hungry...WATCH OUT!!!  You are sometime increasing your eating to 6 ounces. (4 to begin with and then a couple more for a snack.)  But two days ago you inhaled a 8 ounce bottle.

The Doctor says you are moving right along!  25% percentile for Weight and Head, 9% for Height.  You were happy as a clam and very chatty with the Doctor and nurse, until that horrible woman gave you 4 shots!  You looked at her like "What is this about, I thought we were friends!"  It took you a while to calm down, but overall you did great!  You were fussy last night, but I secretly love when I can hold you and you fall asleep in my arms.  I love your snuggles!

Last weekend you went with Mom and Dad to the Dempsey Family reunion in Chicago.  You got to meet all of Grandma Sheila's family.  You were a huge hit!  You did so well with so many people holding you!  Mommy and Daddy pretty much only got to see you when it was bedtime.

What are you doing these days?

You are 12 pounds, 7 ounces
You are 23 inches long
You smile all the time!
You sleep from about 9:30 at night until Mommy wakes you at 8 for breakfast and to go to school.
You are beginning to take naps that last more than 20 minutes while at school, with the help of a swaddle and a even sleeping in a pack and play.
You eat about 4-6 ounces at each feeding but seem to be increasing that amount.  We weaned you off of the super sensitive formula and went to the mid-grade last week and you seem to be fine with that.  You still get breast milk everyday as well.
You want to stand up all the time and are very strong in your arms, legs and hold up your head very well.

You are changing everyday and we are amazed at the miracle you are!

We love you!

Love,

Momma
